We guarantee that all our students will be safe and protected in the school and that their welfare and well-being is of paramount importance.
Student feedback handling procedure: In order to better serve the community, the management and the team look for opportunities to improve the programmes and service quality of NELC. They have put in place an open communication system to collect the feedback from the students. The Managing Director, coordinators and supervisors of each branch are always available to discuss issues relating to the inconveniences, the service and the course. All the feedback from the student is taken as positive step towards improving the quality of the service and maintaining and enhancing the quality of course delivery. Their input will be carefully considered and changes will be implemented to enhance the school’s service level to meet the individual’s expectations.
Course enrolment procedure: Our offices are open from 9:00 to 5:00 PM. Enrolment is accepted one month ahead. In order to get admission and not on the waiting list, it is individual’s duty to come and register early. The school is closed on gazetted holidays. For enrolment, the application fee/ registration fee 5000K will be collected, which is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Enrolment via phone is not guaranteed for the seat without the proper completion of the enrolment form and the application fees. We practise ‘first come, first served’ and the maximum student teacher ratio is 1:25. So the learning is intensive and the teachers really have time for the individual students. Early registration is highly suggested. If you arrive late for the course, we cannot guarantee a place at your level.
Admission procedure: New student must register and takes an English skill placement test. The level of each applicant is carefully assessed prior to granting admission/ acceptance for the course. Students have to complete a placement test and have an oral interview with our supervisor of each branch. Students can call the branch to know when the registration is open for the course that they are interested in.
Attendance requirement: Class time is a valuable part of student’s English language learning. In most of the courses, if the student misses more than 8 lessons, they do not meet the attendance requirement.
Completion of course: Upon fulfilling all requirements like taking tests and meeting attendance %, the student is awarded a certificate with the results.
